Jamaica is known for possessing great Rotarians who are always willing to go beyond the call of "service above self". However Jamaica is also know for an amazing tourism package with beautiful natural landscapes, amazing rivers, pristine beaches and warm welcoming people. So no doubt when the GSE team from Virginia visited the North Coast of the Island we had to let them experience our renowned service.
With a combined effort from the Rotary clubs of Montego Bay Sunrise, Falmouth and Ocho Rios the team visited the award winning Chukka Caribbean Adventures. Their visit took them to Chukka's White River Valley location in St. Mary where they did the Chukka River Tubing Safari excursion.
Between the screams and exhilaration of the tour down river the GSE team got a chance to learn more about Jamaica from their private tour guide.
Special thanks to Rotarian Christopher Myles (Montego Bay Sunrise) for facilitating the tour with Chukka and AG Govind Chulani for coordinating with the multiple clubs to get the day organized.
